Draughtsperson/Design Engineer

A leading European manufacturer of pressure vessels is currently looking to recruit a number of contractors into its expanding CAD department in response to a number of pending orders.

The design and engineering office has built a reputation over the last 30 years for the highest quality of service, from concept through to project completion, incorporating cutting-edge design techniques and all relevant international codes. You'll be assisting with either the drawing and detailing or the bespoke 3D modelling of multiple pressure vessel and bespoke container projects, with an element of client liaison to ensure deadlines are met.

You'll be proficient in AutoCAD, with a good all-round mechanical background and previous industry experience relating to design for fabrication and sheet metal purposes.

If you are interested in the Design Engineer position you should also be a competent user of SolidWorks for 3D modelling requirements with previous engineering experience relating to pressure vessel design or similarly bespoke fabrication projects.
