Drafter/CAD Operator

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Candidate will perform basic architectural tasks based on fundamental architectural/engineering experience and familiarization with the method of project engineering from the conceptual design stage through construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Under direction of an engineer or architect, plan and perform research, design and development of small/medium engineering or building projects and/or portions of large projects.
- Develop drawings and specifications for various engineering projects.
- Receive general direction on smaller/routine projects and more specific instructions for more complex tasks.
- Research/propose solutions to architectural issues.
- Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria to assignments which have a clear and specified objectives.
- Will be working with AutoCAD and Revit.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree.
- AutoCAD and Revit
- 2+ years of related professional experience
- Experience in multi discipline environment designing commercial/industrial facilities
- Ability to produce conceptual and final designs, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates and bid documents for small/medium engineering projects and/or portions of large presentations
- Skill in the preparation and delivery of graphic and data presentations
- Demonstrated AutoCAD drawing production skills
- Technical design experiences in Adobe Acrobat, Maya, Photoshop, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit and V-ray Rendering
- Field survey experience
- Skill in use of word processing, spreadsheet and scheduling software
