ROLE:
-Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
-Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
-Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
-Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
-Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
-Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
- 5-7 years experience required.
-Basic knowledge on financial/banking concepts & operations, ideally on Asset Management area
-Ability to assist and coordinate 2nd to 3rd level support activities
-Strong self-organization skills
-Very strong communication skills
-Very strong Release Management/Incident Management skills and experience with related tools (Service Now, Jira)
-Knowledge with IT processes and methodologies including Agile practices (continuous integration, unit testing, deployment automation)
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Experience with database development and design, ideally on SQL server and Oracle
-Experience developing multi-tier applications in .net languages, specifically C#
-Experience with Scripting languages, specifically PowerShell
-Strong knowledge on Application Server and Web Server configuration and network protocols (FTPS, FTP)
-Strong knowledge on Systems integration (file based outputs, Web services, FTPS connections, Intranet, Internet)
-Knowledge on Scheduling systems (Task based jobs for import/export processes)
LANGUAGES: English is a Must, German a plus
