- Completes well designed systems of high quality.
- Leads in the development of implementation and testing plans
- Maintains currency in technological trends and directions through research/education/self-motivated technology experimentation.
- Participates and/or leads in new technology investigation and makes recommendations for new technology adoption where appropriate.
- Leads technical projects and acts as mentor to junior development staff
SKILLS (MANDATORY):
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent working experience.
- Thorough knowledge of information systems theories, concepts, methods, and techniques.
- Experience in leading initiatives through the full software development life cycle - from conception to completion - with proven ability to assume a leadership role in coordinating activities, scheduling, and project control
- Notes/Domino application development, up to and including v8.5.2
- xPages, Java, Javascript, HTML5, CSS
- Technical documentation, requirements documentation
- Strong Web Development skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, RES Tful services, jQuery, AJAX, MVC, C#, Sharepoint with industry experience in mobile
- Must have good communication skills.
- Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with systems professionals, as well as users who are not systems experts.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and produce a significant volume of work.
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and good judgment
- Ability to provide technical and problem solving leadership to other staff.
- Skill in presenting/demonstrating technical and project related concepts to a varied audience
