Documentum Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Documentum Developer for a 9 Month contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.

This is an English speaking role, French is a plus.

Our Client:-
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success. The end client is a billion dollar Pharmaceutical company.

Your New role:- Role Summary:
The developer will configure and develop Documentum applications according to the provided specifications. S/he will work in an existing Documentum framework (including functions, tools and methods), and will also participate to migration project, using an existing migration tool. The developer will join the Documentum team in place and will work n a controlled environment with high expectations in terms of quality.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- The developer will configure and develop existing Documentum applications, from specifications given by the business analyst. S/he will estimate the tasks to implement. S/he will work into the existing Documentum framework, using also the current methodology and tools, and will participate to extent this framework,
- S/he will do unit testing of the code/configuration that s/he has developed,
- The developer will work on migration projects, configuring/developing the existing migration tool based on migration specifications. S/he will ensure the quality of the migration by analysing the source repository, migration logs and the migrated data into the target repository.
- S/he will work with the testers to reproduce issues and s/he will fix them.
- S/he will write in English the technical documentation
- After Go live, s/he will collaborate with the support to analyze and solve issues.
- S/he will report any deviation to the development plan or other concerns (on specifications,)
- The developer will collaborate to the design of the applications with the business analyst and the Documentum architect. S/he will do the estimation of the effort of development of the different requirements.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
Good experience gained in IT development especially Documentum developments - including development of Documentum applications with TBOs, Lifecycle, workflows, securities, Documentum Java Methods, API,

S/he needs to have very good experience with:
- tools: Documentum Composer, ANT
- other Documentum: Webtop/WDK, object model, methods, jobs, life cycles, workflows, security, DQL,
- langages: Java, XML, XSL, SQL.

Ability to express and write fluently in English; French is a plus. Good team player is important.

Up to 3 years development exp developments. Experience, with at least 1 year experience in Documentum

3 - 8 years development experience, with at least 4 years experience in Documentum developments.

8+ years development experience, with at least 6 years experience in Documentum developments

Desirable Skills:- Java and Documentum certifications are appreciated.
