Documentum Developer

Client is seeking an experienced developer for Documentum support and projects. This position will work under the direction of a Support Lead and is primarily responsible for application support and some customer supported; this position requires good communication skills.

The individual will be responsible for contributing to a variety of tasks with primary focus on:

- Analyze customer requirements
- Design, Develop and Deliver medium to large size projects using DFS, DFC and WDK
- Must be a good team player
- Proactive recommendations of platform optimization
- troubleshooting customer problems including enhancements to existing functionality
- Monitors and tunes the Documentum search engine
- Experienced using SVN or any source code repository
- Participates in annual DR testing
- Covers on call rotations consisting of 7 x 24 schedule
- Stays current with vendor release plans and release notes and frequently works with vendor engineering support

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Development skills in Java, WDK, DFC, DFS, XML
- Linux platform experience with troubleshooting and monitoring processes
- Past experience in tuning Weblogic web server and Oracle Database
- Software Development Kit - Java version 1.5 & 1.6
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Architecture principals and practices
- Ability to work within a team environment and lead some activities

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a development or support role for an enterprise wide content management application support (ie FileNet, SAP, Alfresco, Documentum, etc.)troubleshooting customer problems
- System and application monitoring
- Working with COTS vendors and vendor support
