DNS Engineer - Amsterdam area - 12 Months Contract Opportunity

DNS ENGINEER

Enterprise Partners is looking for a DNS engineer for our client based in the Amsterdam area, the Netherlands.

As the DNS engineer you will be busy implementing enterprise network services projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Subject matter contributor in DNS and DHCP technologies.
- Subject matter contributor in the Design and Implementation of IPAM solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of networking technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 2012r2/2008R2 operating systems.
- Functional working knowledge of Active Directory in an enterprise environment.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/CAPABILITIES

- 5+ years of experience working with DNS/DHCP/IPAM
- Working knowledge of Lucent QIP/BlueCat/Bind. OpenDNS a plus.
- Functional knowledge of one or more script languages.
- Experience with system automation.
- Working knowledge of systems integration related to DNS.
- Experience in ITIL process is a plus. Service Now experience a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure and server operations; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Clustering; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (eg VMware, Hyper-V) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
