Divisional General Manager/Associate Director - Planned Care & Surgery

Exciting 6mth interim vacancy working with a large trust. A change to join a dynamic senior management team and contribute to the future success of a challenged trust.

Candidates must be available at short notice and be proven senior clinical managers.

Deliverables:
*Deliver the business plan for planned care, surgery and cancer services
*Accountable to the Deputy Chief Executive
*Manage the divisions budget and drive the cost reduction programme (CIP)
*Responsible for meeting the annual CIP target and getting back on track
*Responsible for a Head of Nursing, Theatre Manager, Cancer Services Manager and a large team of clinical staff
*Lead on the delivery of all cancer targets and address any potential performance issues
*Sell the trusts vision to clinical staff and consultants

Skills required:
*Experience at divisional general,manager, associate or director level
*Surgery and planned care experience including theatres
*Track record driving and delivering cost reduction programme s(CIP)
*A senior manager with advanced skills in diplomacy and persuasion who can win the trust and confidence of consultants, clinical staff and board

Rate: £500-600/day
