Distribution Specialist - SAP

We are seeking a Distribution Specialist - SAP for a 6 months contract position in Alpharetta, GA.

Looking for someone that understands SAP well enough to do data dumps from the system and run queries. Will be compiling KPIs and metrics from the system. Must know formulas, functions, pivots, v-look ups, etc in Excel. Plus to have some transportation experience or have a logistics degree. 

Skills for Distribution Specialist - SAP:
The position requires knowledge and ability associated with a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related business experience in Logistics, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and DC operations experience is preferred.
This position requires the ability to communicate clearly and openly with distribution center teams, Transportation, and Customer Care regarding distribution operations in order to meet/exceed customer expectations.
The incumbent must actively participate in problem solving and process improvement projects within distribution operations which support achieving cost savings objectives.

Responsibilities for Distribution Specialist - SAP:
Analyze and improve the processes regarding systems inventories and product flow to ensure the attainment of expense and KPI objectives. Develop a stocking strategy for the Health Care domestic distribution system that meets service requirements and maintains the lowest possible cost.
Resolution of day to day issues related to distribution operations and provide customer support as needed.
Provide analysis and support for the integration of new acquisitions into the Health Care distribution system.
Evaluate and drive improvements in and alignment of global distribution processes in order to ensure customer expectations are met.
Identify and lead distribution cost savings projects.
Understand DC contracts in order to effectively audit DC invoices for accurate billing and hold providers accountable for agreed services.
Interface with planning support functions by providing accurate data and analysis to support deployment decisions.
Maintain monthly distribution KPI's and conduct reviews with each DC in support of the CSI.
Maintain monthly update meetings with leaders to communicate progress on objectives, projects and discuss where assistance is needed to remove roadblocks.
