I am working with a leading rail consultancy who are looking for two multi-disciplined engineers to join one of their main clients on an initial 6 month contract.

They require individuals with experience in both electrical and mechanical design engineering within the rail sector, with the following skills desired:

- Electrical design engineering
- Mechanical design engineering
- HV, Telecoms, Structural, Signalling, Rolling Stock Engineering
- Development of Engineering Requirements and Technical Specifications for new projects
- Assessment and review of AIP, detailed designs and programme costs
- Monitoring and review of use of DLR assets
- Consider developments of new initiatives to improve DLR Systems efficiency

The ideal candidate will have:

- Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Membership to relevant professional institution
- Good interface skills
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases and project management tools
- Experience working on development of railway systems
- Experience of projects circa £10k to £10m including involvement of multiple companies
- Flexibility across the engineering field
