Disaster Recovery Management Expert (IT Infrastructure Management)

A Government Department at Canberra requires the services of a highly experienced UNIX and/or Windows midrange SME to execute technical change evaluations to ensure continued delivery of highest possible levels of service from the Main Processing Services Agreement outsourced provider with respect to technical quality of change records and DR Tests.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in the following areas:

- In depth knowledge of Server administration in Unix and/or Windows
- Working productively with stakeholders and vendors within an outsourced IT environment
- Technical evaluation of IT change records to reduce risk and ensure high levels of system availability
- Management of IT Disaster Recovery planning and testing in a medium to large enterprise
- Provision of documentation for IT proposals, analysis and reporting.
- Management of IT midrange and storage infrastructure in an outsourced environment.
- 10 years technical experience in a medium to large enterprise and/or a tertiary qualification in Information Technology.

The contract period is from 30th October 2014 t0 30th June 2015 with further 6 months extension possibilities.

Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance is desirable.
