Disaster Recovery Consultant (part time)

For our International Organisation client in The Hague, we are looking for a part time Disaster Recovery (DR) Consultant, until the end of 2016. Normal working time is 2 days/week onsite, with 2 peaks per year when DR Testing is carried out (total of 60 extra days per annum).

The Consultant will advise the client Disaster Recovery Coordinator on the following topics:

- Business As Usual (BAU) activities
- DR planning
- Perform or participate in technical studies on organisation and infrastructure for Disaster Recovery
- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing of new DR implementations

Skills needed:

- At least 10 years' experience in IT, of which 2 years on Disaster Recovery projects (with proven track record)
- Very good understanding and experience of Business Impact analysis activities within the context of Disaster Recovery
- Very good knowledge of Disaster Recovery technologies and strategies and skills on related implementation common problems
- Good knowledge of Mainframe zOS, VMware, Windows and Linux operating systems, Middle Tier Applications, Network architecture, Storage infrastructure and Databases with regards to Disaster Recovery
- Good knowledge of data synchronous and asynchronous replications products (HUR, XRC)
- Good knowledge of test methodologies and related good practices.
- Project management expertise
- Good knowledge of Patent related applications
- Good knowledge of processes, best practices, methodologies used in Patent business
- Good knowledge of Crisis Management Process
- Experience/Certification in ITIL (used for incident, change and problem management)
