Disaster Recovery Analyst

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with to extend located at Gladesville.

This position is responsible for coordinating the development of processes and procedures to ensure our client can respond to a disaster so that critical business functions can be resumed as quickly & efficiently as possible & the loss of data is minimized.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assisting the Manager in providing for a well documented and tested ITSCM/DRP strategy in accordance with Information Services and legislative requirements
- Plan, prepare and manage the design, coordination and execution of our clients Disaster Recovery tests
- Incorporate compliance, policies, procedures, scorecards for entire ITSCM/DRP program components
- Excellent stakeholder skills
- Able to communicate with all levels of the business
- Conduct analysis on Disaster Recovery capability of ICT systems and provide guidance on remediation where possible
- Assisting in reducing Disaster Recovery testing pertinent audit findings
- Provide guidance relating to testing of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and the associated ITSCM/DRP
- Administer training and awareness program for ITSCM/DRP to the business
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Government experience highly regarded
