Director of Payroll & Benefits

The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a hands on and dynamic Director of Payroll and Benefits for an innovative and growing global research firm.

Highlight of Responsibilities:

- Full cycle payroll using ADP
- Managing full benefits programs including managing benefit vendors
- Lead audit activity for 401(k) plan and workers compensation; assist with SOX audits as needed
- Serve as the firm's go-to resource on benefits issues and questions; drive long-term improvements in broader benefits programs
- Respond to employee questions and issues on a regular basis and with a strong service orientation
- Create census spreadsheets and other reports using ReportSmith and Excel

Ideal candidate will have:

- A minimum of an undergraduate degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with multi state and international employees
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- SPHR or PHR highly desired
