Digital Media Consultant and UX Designer

On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Digital Media Consultant and UX Designer for a 5 and a half month project in Switzerland.

The role is about providing advice and support on ICT solutions with regard to analysis, target definition, concept development and implementation.

You are responsible for;
- Evaluation of customer, competitive and in-house systems for technical and commercial points of view
- Creation and assessment of studies and concepts for implememtation in informatics taking into account current and future business needs
- Evaluation, assessment and recommendations for the implementation of hardware, software and telecommunication technologies
- Acquisition and execution of IT consulting projects
- Provide input to the development of short and long term goals, policies and guidelines for the implementation of Information technology
- Advise users on IT concepts and solutions
- Planning the implementation of IT solutions at the customer site including project management and controlling
- Review and audit of informatic projects

Requirements

- 3+ years UX-experience in web and/or mobile environment
- Understanding of user experience and interaction design principles (IA, Flow Map, Interaction Patterns, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of Adobe CS Tool Suite (Photoshop, Fireworks, FreeHand, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
- Familiar with web technologies such as HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS (with design background)
- Pharmaceutical R&D (nice-to-have)
- Degree in computer science or Media-/Product-/Interaction-/Information Design, Media Communications, etc.
- English - fluent in writing and speaking
