This position is an in-house search marketing position responsible for all aspects of Search Engine Marketing (SEM). The responsibilities would include the execution of PPC projects by performing keyword research, placing ads, weekly monitoring and optimization of campaigns for external search engines. Also included, would be display network, remarketing and social media ad placements. This position would meet with the client to understand the campaign needs and develop a statement of work containing the PPC solution to reach the goals of the campaign.


- Perform SEM tasks 40% of the time, and PPC/paid search project management tasks and client facing 60% of the time.
- Apply ethical SEM best practices when performing tasks such as keyword research, competitive analysis, ad content optimization, Meta tag creation, and social media optimization.
- Present SEM reports to the client, perform analysis of PPC KPIs and make suggestions for improvements.
- Keep up to date on current SEM strategies through continuing education, seminars, subscriptions, and self-study.
- Apply and share these strategies and updates with cross-functional teams and work groups.



- SEM 3-5 years of experience (using SEM tools, Google Analytics, keyword tools).
- Applied knowledge of keyword research and landing page optimization.
- On-line marketing copy writing skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Customer Service.
- Applying SEM knowledge to make recommendations to clients.
- Comfortable consulting with internal business partners (clients) and developing SEM recommendations for the specific campaign.
- Organized, can prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast pace environment; Attention to details.
- Analytical/Problem solving; Active Learner/Self-learner.
- In-depth Project Management skills (2 years of experience).
- Change Management skills.
- Training skills.
- Google AdWords certification.


- Experience with DoubleClick or other display networks.
- Experience with Bing/Yahoo Microsoft adCenter.
