Our blue chip client is looking to recruit a Digital Copywriter based in Canary Wharf for an initial 6 month contract, offering up to £200 per day.

We're looking for a Digital Copywriter to join our global team of design, development and content professionals. You must be a customer-focused individual who can demonstrate experience in shaping digital strategy and delivering best in class solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in writing and IA, and is a digital all rounder who gets how different tactics work together to create effective assets.

ROLE SUMMARY

- Based within the London Digital & Interactive team, supporting the Content Strategy Manager in establishing and applying a digital strategy for the business.
- Work across a multitude of projects dispersing ambiguity, overcoming obstacles and translating client requirements into digital and content strategy to deliver best-in-class on brand web experiences.
- Understand goals, define KPIs and measurement, evaluate SEO and Social Media needs and make recommendations based on results.
- Work closely with project management, design and development teams, and third parties to deliver customer-focused solutions in line with business needs (lead generation, direct marketing, events marketing, marketing communications, product campaigns, feedback capturing, etc.).
- Assess, catalogue, and organize web site content (content inventory). Develop architecture and wire frames and create content maps and taxonomies and plan content with SEO and Social Media needs in mind.
- Write content and edit content written by others to shape for web use. Support the development of and help maintain and enforce content guidelines.
- Apply the established Digital Governance process and support efforts to simplify and bring consistency to the digital landscape by regularly auditing existing digital assets and working with business owners to ensure those still meet business needs.
- Apply tactics such as A/B testing, analytics and other approaches.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

- Degree in a related field (Digital, IT, Marketing, Business)
- 3+ years experience in a similar position

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Information architecture/wire framing/prototyping/site maps/taxonomies
- Proven experience developing digital content, strong writing skills for a global, professional audience
- Good understanding of web analytics and how data and stats can provide insight
- Familiar with SEO practices, proven experience of creating search optimized content
- Accessibility and usability awareness
- Experience working on large international, multi-channel campaigns
- Familiar with the web development process and a good understanding of web technologies such as HTML and CSS, as well as web best practices and design principles
- Highly collaborative and resourceful with superior communication skills
- Proven ability to communicate, build relationships and influence at all levels within a large organization
- Ability to digest and translate business requirements
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines whilst delivering to a high degree of quality
-A team player and comfortable working with third party agencies

PREFERABLE SKILLS

- Experience in editing content online using enterprise level Content Management Systems
- Experience using A/B Testing methods
- eCommerce background
- Experience working with strong brands
