Our client in Glasgow are currently recruiting for an exceptional Digital Content Editor to work within their Web and Digital team. The Digital Content Editor will ensure the content on their corporate websites remain current and relevant to customers.

The Digital Content Editor will possess the following background and experience:

*Considerable experience of creating and managing written content for high-traffic websites.
*Experience of writing content for significant commercial web sites where on-line sales performance and lead generation were the key objectives.
*Demonstrable web-editing experience using a Content Management system.
*Experience of working with Adobe CQ5 or a similar enterprise-level Content Management System.
*Excellent written English skills with an ability to write persuasively.
*Experience in applying advanced SEO techniques.
*Awareness of content for social media.
*Understanding of usability and accessibility best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Action service requests received from stakeholders relating to content changes for the corporate website.
2.Liaise with multiple stakeholders across global markets, to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements.
3.Review existing content with editorial groups and identify areas for improvement.
4.Ensure that content created or edited aligns with best practice principles.
5.Ensure content is optimised for search and that our search rankings meet agreed targets.
6.Use Google Analytics to identify popular/hidden/less-popular content and inform decision making.
7.Train content authors and publishers, such that all those who create and approve content throughout the business are qualified to do so.
8.Ensure that content changes align with the established brand and style guide.
9.Work with specialists within the Web and Digital team to produce the correct outcomes for the customer (eg web developers, user experience designer).
