Eingestellt von Bron Afon

Gesuchte Skills: Social media, Marketing, Controller

Projektbeschreibung

Looking for a new challenge?

At Bron Afon we're extremely proud of our achievements and have had much to celebrate recently… it's thanks to our staff that we are where we are today. We've always strived to make delivering first-class services for tenants and residents a priority.

In the 4 and a half years since Bron Afon was created, we've really recognised that we need to give our people the best opportunities to develop new skills - and this has had a huge impact on our success.

It's an exciting time as we move into a new phase of our development, and with a new Corporate Plan we have ambitions to drive the business forward. Our vision is that Bron Afon remains a sustainable business which continues to meet our existing commitments by providing excellent housing, support and advice to those who really need it, maximizing the use of our assets for the benefit of communities in Torfaen.

There will be challenges on the road ahead - we need our people to be driven to be the best at what we do.

- Can you grab someone's interest in 140 characters on Twitter and write website content that gets shared and talked about?
- Do you have creative ideas on how You Tube can be used to start a conversation?
- Are you passionate about getting others to understand and use social media?

This new, exciting job is with an organisation that talks to 100s of people every day face to face. We will always be community based and involve people in decisions that affect them. But through digital media we can talk to even more people about our work and services. Have you got the skills to help Bron Afon do this?

We know that our website, intranet and social media channels are important ways for us to have 'conversations', and this is a brand new role in a multi-million pound organisation. You will have the chance to work in partnership with others to develop innovative ways for us to use digital media to inform, involve and communicate with a range of stakeholders.
We want someone who enjoys writing in plain English and who knows how to use different media to get people's attention. You'll be someone who is always looking for new developments in social media, and will be at the front of using new technology and platforms. Whilst you may have not done this professionally, you must have used a content management system for a website, blog or intranet site.
As well as looking after our social media channels, a key challenge in your first few months will be developing and delivering our brand new website. We've chosen our supplier, but now you'll be leading on creating and implementing it and making sure that it fits in with our other communication channels.

This is an exciting new role with plenty of variety - you'll be comfortable 'talking' to residents on our Facebook page or revamping our intranet site. If you're up for these challenges, we'd love to hear from you!

This job is being offered initially for a fixed term of 12 months although in the future it may become permanent.
