Devops Software Developer

CONTRACT/FREELANCE OPPORTUNITY: SC Cleared DevOps Software Developer - TFS, PowerShell - 6-8 month initial contract - Hague, Netherlands - 500€ per day

One of my leading clients, a government sector company based in The Hague, Netherlands require an SC Cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join them on-site for an initial 6-8 month contract. You must hold SC Clearance at the time of application.

Responsibilities
Shorten the time to deliver ICT applications into Production Environment;
Support the design and integration of the DevOps delivery process;
Pro-actively collaborate in the definition and implementation of improvements to the DevOps Lifecycle Management methodologies and tools;
Develop the necessary methodology, scripts and procedures to enable deployment automation across multiple environments and multiple teams;
Create and maintain project-related technical documentation, including design and deployment documentation, in cooperation with the Architecture and Engineering Team;
Maintain requirement changes, system model and work performed by developers and infrastructure engineers synchronised during the whole DevOps life cycle;
Evaluate and implement different options for DevOps based solutions/improvement;
Define/streamline processes within and between the Development and Operations teams in order to enhance deployment speed, quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Essential:
Must hold SC Clearance
Working knowledge of English language
Minimum 7 years' Software Development experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience with DevOps activities in setting up of continuous integration and developing automated deployments
Extensive knowledge/experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Extensive knowledge/experience in PowerShell

Desirable:
Experience of working in an Agile development team
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and/or 2016
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and/or PowerCLI
Knowledge of Linux RedHat version 6 or above
