Devops Engineer - Zurich - Renowned Swiss Bank - Contracting - Service

I am privileged to assist our client, a renowned Swiss Bank in Zurich, in the search for an EXPERIENCED DEVOPS ENGINEER to join their team here in Zurich.

The Team is responsible for engineering and maintenance of all technologies that interface with ServiceNow technologies. It handles the technology stack for the infrastructure outside SaaS. These technologies include MID SERVERS, ORACLE STAGING DATABASES, REST AND SOAP-INTERFACES which have to be aligned properly to maximize utility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and engineering of various technical components (MID Servers, Interfaces, Data Mappings, additional scripts with the ecosystem of our client
- Work with other Engineers, Business Analysts, Developers and support organizations to decide for the correct solution and set them up in a compliant and effective manner
- Understand and apply the DevOps objectives for the organization
- Work with other engineering teams across the organization to integrate with their systems seamlessly
- Work to project schedules and provide accurate and timely feedback for any assigned tasks
- Produce high-quality documentation related to solution design, operations, governance and end-users

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Tech-driven personality with a big picture mindset
- Web Service Technologies (REST/SOAP)
- Collaboration minded
- Either ServiceNow or JIRA knowledge (preferably both)
- AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE (++)
- Broad Technical Background
- Good English communication skills

Desired Skills:

JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting, Security and Encryption, Jenkins, Splunk

At least one Scripting language on a senior level.
