DevOps Engineer - Puppet, Ansible, Docker, AWS

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: 6 Month Rolling Contact

DevOps Engineer with Puppet/Ansible, Docker, AWS and any knowledge around monitoring tools, frameworks and processes is required

The DevOps Engineer (Puppet, Jenkins, Linux, AWS, Docker) will be working on a digital project and you will have a massive say on how the projects looks and works as they need someone to help with the project strategy. DevOps guru must have experience in Ansible/Puppet, Cloud, Linux, AWS and Jenkins to be part of a growing team.

- The DevOps Engineer (Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, Linux, AWS, Docker) must have the following experience
- Understanding of common web application architectures.
- Experience with building, operating, or using a Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Must understand software development and how it interacts with a platform.
- Experience of commodity cloud providers such as AWS, GCE, Azure, etc. Ideally more than one.
- Working understanding of a language such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java, or Scala
- Familiarity with network protocols - TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc.
- Proficient using revision control tools such as Subversion, Mercurial or Git
- Experience using configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, etc.
- Experience administering common open source databases like Hadoop, Postgres, Oracle, etc.
- Genuine interest in creating a platform for a range of cross-organisational applications

This project will allow the successful DevOps Engineer (Puppet, Cloud, Linux, AWS, Docker) to add to their skill set and be at the forefront of an amazing project.
