Devops Backend Engineer (Java)

I am currently looking for a DevOps Backend Engineer (Java) for a contract role based in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.

Together with your team you will be building and maintaining software solutions for Arrears-controlling purposes that are being used by different business and IT parties.
You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform's capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way.

DevOps Backend Engineer (Java): will be responsible for the following

- Engineers have a responsibility to ensure delivery across end-to-end application chains.
- You teach, coach and train our colleagues, you share knowledge.
- You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software with real business value.
- You have a broad understanding of the IT architecture of your domain, have excellent analytical skills and are able to determine the impact of certain choices. You can translate these principles into concrete actions for your team.

DevOps Backend Engineer (Java): will ideally have the following skills and experience

- Dutch and English speaking
- Java
- SQL/Stored procedures
- AIX/Linux Shell Scripting
- Test driven development
- Continuous delivery, automating deployments (Nolio, Artifactory, Jenkins, GIT)
- Automating testing (ALM/UFT, Fitnesse, cucumber, etc. ),
- TMAP or ISTQB certified
