We are looking for a Devops / Admin (m/w) im Bereich Puppet, Hadoop.

Tasks:
Project: Data Integration
+ Installing, Extending and Configuring of the Hadoop Eco system.
+ Ensuring operational safety of the managed BIG DATA Hadoop platforms.
+ Interface to Data Center Operations, Software Engineering and Application Management.
+ Deployment and troubleshooting - problem management - of the supervised Big Data projects.

Key Activities
+ Maintain and support technical operations for our existing Hadoop infrastructures, administer Linux systems, including

Configuration and troubleshooting
+ Design, Implementation and Operation of Backup and Recovery
+ Capacity management and performance analysis in close collaboration with colleagues of development
+ Design and implementation of automated processes as base for Continuous Delivery, automated testing and deployments
+ Maintenance of operational documentation
+ Screen and evaluate future technology-trends for feasibility and help to integrate this new technologies in running infrastructures.

Must:
+ Solid know-how working with Linux
+ Experiences with Apache Hadoop (e.g. Cloudera Hadoop, OOzie, Spark, HBase)
+ Experience with configuration management automation tools (e.g. Puppet/Foreman/Bamboo/Docker)

Nice:
+ First Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios/Icinga, Graphite + Grafana
+ First contact to Virtualization Technology (ESXi, vSphere) beneficial
+ SHELL, RUBY, Java Know How a plus
+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the development team
+ Safe use of the German and the English language in speech and writing
