Device Technician - Data Entry Job

DEVICE TECHNICIAN ~ DATA VERIFICATION & ENTRY needed for a TEMPORARY CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located near Palo Alto, CA.

- Data Entry
- Electronic Device configuration

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN will enter device information to asset tracker database.
- DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN will Verify data on device is accurate to what is entered into database.
- DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN will ping device, verify location, verify/correct configuration files
- DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN will account for all used devices on A-frames are included in database. devices include meters, APs, relays, bridges, lab equipment, Label A-frames.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experienced data entry in a professional environment.
- Clear communicator, good read and listening skills
- Fast, accurate data entry, detail-oriented
- Basic Unix/Linux file management experience
- Basic MS Excel experience
- Comfortable working with Mac and Windows computers
- Physically able to accurately read small numbers and letters off labels from devices
- Strong grip and wrists for removing/installing devices off/on meter socket

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Fundamental understanding of programming principles, software programming hobbyist.
