Development Platform Rollout Co-Ordinator

The objective of the Development Platform Epic, is to give development squads a framework to accelerate the creation of Micro Services and Single Page Applications as well as a platform on which to deploy and run them.

In doing so, the squads must adopt good practices in terms of API definition, Micro Service governance and development.

This is implemented in an agile IT organization, organized in Tribes, Squads, Guilds and Chapters and following SAFe.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

- Coordinate the follow-up of dependencies for making the Development Platform production ready
- Work with Production Services team to set up the governance for deploying and managing Micro Services and Single Page applications
- In collaboration with Test Engineering, establish a test strategy for validating the deployment of Micro Services and Single Page Applications.
- In close collaboration with the squads implementing and improving the Development Platform, establish a roadmap for rollout of the Platform within the organization
- Evaluate candidacy of development squads wishing to adopt the new Development Platform and
- Establish KPI for the correct implementation of the new Development Platform by development squads
- Follow-up on the rollout within the organization

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Release management
- Governance around production services
- Continuous Delivery: build & deployment automation
- Testing methodologies
- Elaboration of an adoption/rollout plan in a large organization
- Experience working in an agile organisation and enterprise scale environment experience
- Experience with Micro Services and Single Page Applications
- Stakeholder engagement and management
