Development Manager

Product Development Team Manager - Up to £70K + Benefits - High Wycombe

You will be working for an accredited Microsoft Gold Partner. The work environment is informal, with access to all Microsoft current and pre-release software and partner resources.

My client are looking for a successful Product Development Manager to lead their highly skilled team producing a world-leading Cloud based business intelligence product suite using a wide range of Microsoft technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, Silverlight, HTML, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL and Microsoft software including SQL Server, Analysis Server, SSIS, IIS.

Their guiding principles are to deliver a fantastic user experience, with brilliant ease of use, better looking interface and functional superiority over the competition.

You will have ownership of:

* delivering great advances to their product in competitive timeframes
* moving forward rapidly through iterative, Agile and Scrum or similar approaches and reporting to the founder and directors
* managing development team members in the UK, US and potentially future outsource team members

You will be experienced in BI reporting, Dashboards and/or Performance Management and be able to support the team with excellent hands-on skills to assist in de-bugging and the trickier developments!

Successful candidates will hold a 1st Class or 2:1 degree level or equivalent in a computing or a mathematical subject.

Required technology expertise: JQuery, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML4/5, CSS, MS SQL Server, XML, ADO.NET.

Environment: Visual Studio 2010, Windows 2003 / 2008 R2 Microsoft Certifications will be an advantage.

Other skills of interest: SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Analysis Server, OLAP Cubes, Data Warehouse

Experience: minimum of 3 years product development manager employment.
