Development Engineers (District Heating)

SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Our clients is currently looking for experienced engineers for their Design team to work with the Business Development team.

Looking for candidates with a strong understanding of the design and operation of district heating networks, you'll be working with project stakeholders to recommend the most appropriate and commercially viable district heating solutions for client. At the same time you'll be generating new business ideas, developing new technologies.

From conceptualising the contract discussions to Front End engineering design (FEED), you'll be leading the design of the district heating projects from start to finish. You'll oversee and coordinate each project and ensure the client's requirements are met at every stage.

ESSENTIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
Proven experience with Energy Pro and CAD.
Working knowledge of energy centre functionality, operation and design.
Experience with carbon compliance in planning and building regulation.
Strong track record in developing and implementing new technology.
Up-to-date with the latest heating systems

Desirable skills:

Advanced AutoCAD user.
Experience negotiating with technical and commercial arguments.

London or Midlands-based but with travel to other project site locations in the UK
