Development Engineer - Medical Devices

We are looking for a Mechanical/Development Engineer for our client who are specialists in Combination Devices.

Responsibilities:

- Develop Combination/Drug delivery devices such as auto-injector or injection pens
- Develop mechanical test methods to characterize the performance of medical devices, including fixture design and programming of test equipment
- Test medical devices and record results, following good documentation processes
- Build devices and subassemblies of medical devices following work instructions

Requirements:

- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
- An ideal candidate would have at least three years of experience working in product development, preferably in an engineering or testing laboratory.
- Experience working within an industry that is subject to strict regulations such as Medical Devices, Aviation, Automobiles.
- Good mechanical aptitude and is comfortable with hands-on work.
- Experience in testing complex devices during product development
- Experience in programming force and torque testing machines, such as Zwick or Mecmesin
- Experience in Solidworks or other similar CAD package
