Development Engineer (m/f) Interior

Currently we are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f).

Your tasks include:
+ Analyze customer product specifications and applicable regulations/legislations
+ Define the product functional analysis (based on standard) to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear product performance criteria
+ Support the creation and update of the product definition file in Product Data Management (PDM)
+ Participate in design reviews
+ Create and document product improvement ECR
+ Ensure consistency between GD&T (including Tolerance stacks) and process feasibility
+ Lead the product validations (DVPhase2, DVPhase3 & PVPhase3)
+ Define, plan, and follow the product validations (CAE and physical tests)
+ Define the product improvements to meet the specifications
+ Validate the control plan (built by Quality) against identified product key characteristics specified by D&D
+ Define engineering levels to be used by (Pilot) Plant during launch.

+ Interior plastic parts design and processes knowledge
+ Minimum 2 years of proven experience in design and development within an industrial environment, preferably on automotive interior
+ Good Team player, strong written and oral communication skills
+ Able to work in a multicultural environment
+ Availability to travel
