Development Engineer

Development Engineer - Aerospace
Contract - Dorset - 6 months

My prestigious client, specialising in aerospace and defence systems, requires a Development Engineer to join their Engineering team based in Dorset following an increase in workload.

The successful Development Engineer will be involved with a range of tasks across the engineering department, collating equipment and systems requirements qualifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

This will include:-
- Planning and creating qualification plans
- Creating test procedures and organising all test activities.
- Creating reports using DOORS requirement gathering software
- Evaluating systems and equipment

To be successful in this Development Engineer position, you'll need:-
-Previous experience working in a development engineer position, including knowledge of full product life cycles
-Ability to write reports and procedures, organise tests and understand quality standards
-Experience of requirements management software such as DOORS or CRADLE
-Knowledge of relevant aerospace/defence environmental standards
-Experience of environmental and functional testing
