Development / Design Engineer (Mechanical) Hull

Leading the development aspects of NPD Projects, the Senior Development / Design Engineer will be responsible for the completion of development work on New Product Development projects and develop design solutions to relevant standards.

The Senior Development / Design Engineer will come from an R&D (Research & Development) / New Product Introduction background and have commercial & domestic product knowledge.

Ideally possessing previous experience of developing gas-fired products, the Senior Development Engineer will have experience of working to European Standards and the full product lifecycle, from concept generation through to production implementation.

The Senior Development / Design Engineer should have experience in mechanical engineering (ideally gas management), be a problem solver, capable of thinking outside the box to come up with solutions and have experience of designing / developing products on 2D & 3D CAD Software.

In addition, the Senior Development / Design Engineer should be a self starter, capable of managing a work load effectively and be able to solve complex problems and push forward technical boundaries on new products.
