Development Coder

THE ORGANISATION

Our client a Federal Government Agency requires the services of a Sydney based Development Coder for a period of 31 months from 1st Dec 2012 to 30th Jun 2015 in order to assist the Web Coder with maintaining, developing, refining and customising the software system.

THE ROLE

- The contractor shall undertake a variety of tasks on each project as directed by the Commonwealth Representative or their designate, including but not limited to:
- Populate Flash templates with appropriate media and content.
- Develop Flash (AS3) templates for mass production of interactive multimedia content.
- Develop Flash (AS3) code libraries for use in various packages.
- Develop and implement different delivery solutions for different delivery environments including SCORM.
- Support in the development of interactive training activities and content as required.
- Support in the design & and analysis of products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain websites & web applications as required.
- Assist in training and mentoring personnel for production tasks.
- Maintain project source code.
- Produce and maintain project related documentation.
- Assist in backup and archival procedures.
- Perform software testing on an as required basis.
- Participate in research & development on an as required basis.
- Liaise with other project stakeholders on an as required basis.
