Establish and lead on a sales and business development strategy
Grow and develop new business through diversification and expansion of the services
Work with and challenge the senior managers who deliver services to drive innovative service development and improvements in quality and to secure new business
Manage and lead the development of an efficient and effective operating model including business systems, production of management information, compliance and financial reporting, subscription models, contractual arrangements, customer relationship management systems, customer evaluation processes and business improvement processes
Support the strategic development of a more commercial focus, coaching and developing capability at all levels of the organisation
The post holder will be accountable to the Board and be responsible for keeping Board members up-to-date with developments. The role is results-driven and customer-focused, and will proactively pursue new opportunities to extend our customer base, build external partnerships and maximise income generation.
Services ranging from ICT, Legal, HR, Finance, Learning and Catering services, the role is a key appointment in developing these services further overseeing the governance and working arrangements of all traded services, experience of Capita or Northgate services would be useful in the area of business development.
