DEVELOPER, IBM DATASTAGE.
OBJECTIVE:
The Business Intelligence team at my client, an international Bank based in Brussels, is in charge of the development of Management Reports. The team already comprises Business Analysts and Designers - now we are looking for a Senior Developer: you must have strong Datastage development skills and experience (ideally v8.7). Candidates from other industries (non-financial sector) will also be considered.
TASKS:
Design the technical ETL solution (Define the technical interface, specs for the source systems, the ETL processes from landing zone till storage) and develop the solution with IBM DataStage.
Design the physical relational datamodel in collaboration with the DBA.
Define the scheduling requirements for ETL processes in the data warehouse.
Develop
Create an easy to use reporting layer for the end user;
Develop & test the reports and dashboards requested by the users
Prepare the releases
Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodology;
Nice to have but NOT ESSENTIAL: Cognos BI (10.1) and BI Cubes.
Language: English.
