Developer Analyst Part Time

Our client is the leading computer manufacturing company seeking a contract Developer to work on software that allows connection to a new type of sensors to their context aware computing service. The service allows consumption of data from a diverse set of context sensors, and adds new sensor technology as it becomes available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create integration code in.NET that unifies disparate data feeds and exposes the data in a single, consistent manner via web services.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of related work experience
- .NET development (C#, VB.NET, etc.)
- Web services
- Experience with REST and SOAP based web services
- Experience with JavaScript/AJAX
- Experience with Message Bus technology (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, Tibco, etc. a plus)
- Excellent design skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with sensors and context awareness a plus
