Developer Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

- Work more independently and may coach software engineers.
- Looking for Native Android app developer that can hit the ground running with quality work to supplement existing team.
- Responsible for complete design, development and development testing for software projects.
- The Developer Analyst may also be responsible for coaching other team members and performing quality reviews of the work of other team members.
- The Developer Analyst should be deep in his/her technology and domain specialty, but have learning agility and versatility to learn technology outside his/her specialty to improve delivery.
- The DA should also have a team-first mentality, and be willing to help other team members in order to improve the delivery success.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Requirements Elicitation, Understanding, Analysis,delivers value without compromising quality.
- Identifies alternatives to the process, if need be, to meet necessary delivery dates.
- Suggests tools/process to enable independent delivery.
- Works closely team leaders to provide early estimates for new technology foundations, establish timelines and manage to a schedule.
- Demonstrates excellence; champions and leads with a can-do attitude.
- Displays exceptional work ethic and tenacity.
- Promotes and maintains standards; accepts responsibility.
- Is a self-starter with exceptional learning agility.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree [in Computer Science] or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

- 4+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in full life cycle development.
- Mobile development: Android SDK, Android Studio
- Able to assimilate and apply complex knowledge in a timely manner.
- Solid experience in planning, designing, and implementing software for large scale business solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas, designs, and specifications effectively.
- Java Development
- Knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML preferred.
- SQL, Relational database experience (DB2, etc.)
- Unix/Linux.
- Data modelling
- Secondary (helpful):
- Experience in Benefits or HR Process administration.

REQUIREMENTS

- Native Android App experience required.
- SOAP/JSON web service experience.
- Development IDE (Eclipse), Android Studio
