Developer Analyst

OVERVIEW:
Seeking a passionate and skilled Developer Analyst. This role will join a fast-paced team building new commercial website features and supporting existing platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes the .NET framework to design software components and ensure requirements are met.
- Defines, develops, documents, and maintains quality client side and Server Side code.
- Facilitates QA hand-off and code review meetings.
- Optimizes .NET code performance and processing methods.
- Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.

SKILLS:

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong ASP.NET (C#) and JavaScript programming skills.
- Strong skills with web based technologies including HTML, XML, and CSS.
- Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, TFS, and IIS.
- Object-oriented design and development knowledge.
- Skilled in Entity framework, SQL Server, and LINQ.
- Experience with frameworks such as jQuery and Knockout.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of WCF, REST and SOAP is a plus.
- Experience with Kentico CMS or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Basic understanding of .NET MVC and JavaScript MVVM architectures is a big plus.
- Experience with TDD and unit testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile processes and estimation is a plus.

FORMAL EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in software development with C# and JavaScript.

WORK CONDITIONS:
- Colleagues in this role are expected to have an overall understanding of the project plan and participate outside of their core responsibilities when needed.
- Fluctuating work schedule can be expected during nights and weekends depending on system availability and deliverable dates.
- Frequent computer use at Workstation up to 2 hours at a time or for extended periods of time.
