Developer Analyst

Work as part of a small team involved in the full life cycle development of a complex enterprise system. The ideal candidate will be able to work through the entire life cycle, from analysis, architecture and design, to development, testing and implementation. Our application is built on the .NET stack, leveraging technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, WCF, Entity Framework 4.0, .NET 4.0, Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Collaborating with other technical and business team members on analysis and requirements
- Designing, developing, testing and supporting .NET applications
- Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, code consistency and maintainability
- Participating in code deployment
- Providing technical support to internal and external clients

SKILLS:

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE REQUIRED:

- Undergraduate degree in computer sciences or a related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid experience (minimum 4 years) developing with C# and .NET
- Experience working with Visual Studio 2010
- Experience developing ASP.NET MVC 4 websites
- Experience developing with ASP.NET AJAX
- Experience with JQuery/JQuery UI
- Experience developing WCF services
- Experience with Entity Framework 4+ and LINQ
- Experience developing applications that use SQL Server 2008
- Practical knowledge of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and other web standards

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS WOULD BE AN ASSET:

- Advanced JavaScript or experience with JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with NuGet
- Experience building SPAs (single-page applications)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (ie NUnit)
- Experience with service bus technologies (NServiceBus, MassTransit, etc.)
- Experience with asynchronous messaging and messaging technologies
- Experience developing Windows services
- Experience developing Excel add-ins or with COM Interop
- Experience working with source control (ie subversion)
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Knowledge of design principles (design patterns, cohesion/coupling, S.O.L.I.D. etc.)
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
