Desktop Support Specialist - Secret Clearance Job

DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Crane, Indiana.

POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE OR HIGHER IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Comptia Security + CE certification
- Secret Clearance

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Desktop support technician position supporting NMCI/CoSC contract PC's running Windows XP and Windows 7.
- Potential candidate should be very familiar with both operating systems and have significant experience in the IT field with prior employers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have an active Final Secret or higher DoD security clearance
- Note.* An interim clearance is not sufficient.*
- Must have an active/in date Comptia Security + certification.
- Advanced Active Directory Knowledge and Experience.
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft products (specifically XP and Windows 7 Operating Systems).
- Advanced Knowledge of a "Commercial Off The Shelf" (COTS) ticketing system (preferably Remedy or Heat). Please note that all technicians will be trained on HP Service Manager (SM7) for incident reporting.
- Knowledge of Common Access Card (CAC).
- Knowledge of Navy customer and Military Rank (prior NMCI experience is a plus, prior military experience is helpful).
- Knowledge of printers (network and stand-alone, multiple vendors and types).
- Exceptional customer support skills.
