Desktop Support Specialist - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our client in Washington, DC.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide Tier II Support to active duty military personal and civilians
- Troubleshooting
- Maintenance and Repair
- Installation

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Candidate needs to have a secret clearance with SSBI.
- A+ cert and Security+ cert are required
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software on Dell/HP laptops, desktops, Xerox/HP network/desktop printers, installing peripherals (BB's, scanners, printers etc.), working with a ticketing system (Remedy and SM7), working in a team and individual environment, working with the highest ranking Navy and Marine Corps officers and Government customers.
- Ability to learn by on the job training, shadowing current employees and retaining what is taught.
- Also able to be flexible with processes and procedures that are always changing.
- Some on call work will be required on occasion
