Desktop Support Specialist - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our client in Newburg, New York.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Technical Support for Stewart Air National Guard Base.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have CompTIA Security + certification. No Exceptions!
- Advanced Active Directory Knowledge and Experience
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft products (specifically WIN7 Operating Systems)
- Advanced Knowledge of a COTS ticketing system (preferably Remedy)
- Knowledge of Common Access Card (CAC)
- Knowledge of USMC customer (prior NMCI experience is a plus, prior military experience is helpful)
- Knowledge of printers (network and stand-alone, multiple vendors)
- Exceptional customer support skills
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Able to work with minimal direction
- Able to quickly identify and resolve issues and follow set escalation paths when/if required
- Work week is 40 hours a week within a seven day period (Monday to Sunday)/8 hours a day no OT unless prior approved by both customer and leadership in writing
