Projektbeschreibung

A 2nd line Desktop Support Engineer is required to work on a client site. The Desktop Support Engineer will provide onsite 1st and 2nd line desktop support to an important client. They will be responsible for ensuring that incidents, services and change requests are completed quickly and efficiently, and prioritise these incidents based on their SLA and importance.

The successful Desktop Support Engineer will have the following experience:

- Previous IT support - 1st line/2nd line/Desktop Support
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications (ideally Office 2010 onwards)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2000 > Windows 7)
- Active Directory Administration
- Exchange Administration
- Windows Server
- Network patching
- Software patching
- Excellent customer service skills

The successful Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for:

- Logging tickets, keeping calls up to date and resolving tickets in Remedy
- Troubleshooting and resolving 1st/2nd line desktop issues
- Taking ownership of incidents and service requests
- Analyse issues/queries and provide solutions in a realistic time frame adhering to SLA's
- Maintain library of run books ensuring these are created and kept up to date where appropriate

Dutch and English are needed, German is desirable.
