FOR THIS CONTRACT POSITION, WITH A WORLD-RENOWNED COMPUTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, YOU WILL BE PERFORMING A VARIETY OF DESKTOP SUPPORT ACTIVITIES.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

- Hand out systems to new employees and answer/assist with any questions or problems they may have logging in, setting up VPN, etc.
- PC Refresh using written documentation to migrate data from old system to new system, verify data is backed up, answer any customer questions. Remove system from customer's name and follow processes regarding storing drives.
- PCLD lab- Process drives that have been held for 2 weeks, assist build bench, clean HP fans, assist with any other tasks that need to be done in the lab.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years related work experience
- Customer service experience and ability to deal with difficult customers
- Ability to follow processes
- Good positive attitude
- Solid desktop support and troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with a variety of hardware platforms running Windows Operating systems
- Experience with remote access, VPN, and backup/recovery
- A+ certification
- Experience with Linux strongly preferred
- MCP/MCSE certification a plus
