ROLE SUMMARY
This role is for a Desktop Security Architect who will join highly skilled desktop security engineering team responsible for the design of a security solution that is secure, stable and with good user experience on desktop, laptop, VM and tablets
The role includes actvivities related with cooperation with stakeholdes (Product Managers, IT Risk), design, documentation preparation and testing
THE ROLE INVOLVES
The Desktop Security Architect will be required to take security requirements from security policy documents and best pratices to design the Endpoint Security solution.
The candidate will be responsible for product evaluation and solution design.
The candidate should have qualification decribed below, proven experience in scope of similar products and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an understanding of the security requirements of a Desktop build within a financial Institution and the ability to interpret security standards and ensure adherence to them.
- Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, be extremely self-motivated, be able to work with minimal guidance and have the ability to own problems through to resolution. Ability to collaborate across a diverse global team.
- 5 years+ experience in relevant disciplines
- Very good technical architecture and design skills - has worked as an architect
- Very good understanding of the various vendor products for desktop security
- Good presenation skills (writing and speaking in English)
- Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Security Products and Features (Bitlocker, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Intel Security Products and Features (McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Drive Encryption, Host Intrustion Prevention, VirusScan for Enterprise, McAfee Endpoint Security 10.1, etc.)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, especially Group Policies
