Desktop Migration Engineer

An experienced Desktop Rollout Engineer is required for a short term assignment based on client sites in Monaco and Germany.

The primary role is to provide technical expertise for a laptop deployment project, covering multiple sites - approximately 25 machines per site, setting up PC's migrating data and applications, and decommissioning Legacy systems.

The Rollout Engineer will also provide business users with support on all aspects of Information Technology (including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Mobile Phones, Telecom Systems, and Networks) as required.

Key duties:

- Hardware deployment
- 1st and 2nd level helpdesk user support
- Manage hardware and software installation/configuration in accordance with corporate policies
- Decommission Legacy hardware
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Ensure that any activity, tasks and responsibilities required by role are completed in accordance with internal policies and processes.

Key Skills:

- Previous experience working in an IT support role
- Knowledge of operating systems and office automation software
- Basic knowledge of LAN and WAN connectivity protocols
- Assembly and maintenance skills on PC/Server hardware components
- Good problem solving skills
