Desktop Design Consultant - Windows 7, SCCM 2012, Citrix XenApp is required by my client who is based in Derby.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Working knowledge of Service Centre Enterprise Tool sets inc. Service Management systems, Desktop and QMS knowledge bases
- SCCM 2012 knowledge
- SMI Installer knowledge
- Good working knowledge of a XenApp environment
- Windows XP7 support skills, preferably to MCP or MCDST level
- Experience of Lenovo desktops and laptops in a corporate environment
- 2 years experience of working in a 2nd line support environment, with a mix of remote and on site support
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and meet target SLAs and/or project deadlines when required
- Basic Packaging knowledge
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of producing process documentation
- Clean driving licence
- Experience of Build creation using MDT
- Experience Group policy creation, testing and troubleshooting

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

A Desktop Consultant is required to cover a variety of tasks within existing projects. Examples of these are creating new builds and SCCM Testing

My clients environment is a reasonably standardised desktop estate with a standard Windows 7 build deployed (or being deployed) with the majority of applications being published in Citrix. There are a number of remote sites so driving licence is essential.
