Location: Dorset easily commutable from Christchurch, Portsmouth, Weymouth and with excellent access from and Hampshire and Bournemouth
Rate: £32.50 per hour
OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a Designer/Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.
THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation
The Job:
The successful Designer/Engineer candidate will be responsible for the following:
Analyse functional and physical requirements and convert to supplier specific specifications for COTs and MOTs items including allowances for in-house designed constraints due to packaging
Provide detail design and generation of production drawings for mechanical casings/fittings/mounting of above items
Provide detail design and generation of production drawings of electrical schematics/wiring schedules and Bills of Materials
Generate proving specs for Functional and Physical properties of the above and assistance with environmental and EMC specification
Generate documentation to support design certification, eg safety check lists, compliance statements Declaration of conformance
