Design Technologist Job

DESIGN TECHNOLOGIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pleasanton, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Designing and developing software
- Web applications
- HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Bachelor's CS, Human-Computer Interaction

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Stay up to date on current trends in Front End development for web, mobile, desktop and tablet apps
- Act as a member of the UX Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design practices
- Subject matter expert in the area of design technology and engineering
- Translate UX design process for an engineering-driven company

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum five (5) years of experience designing and developing software/web applications
- Expert level knowledge of modern web app technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, LESS, JQuery, MVC
- Excellent knowledge and experience in interaction design and visual design
