Design Lead

Our client, IT Solutions Provider is looking for a Design Lead for a 6 month contract to be based in Edinburgh.

The Programme objectives are to:

- Rationalise the existing product suites and generate economic value by simplifying both sales and service
- Create the golden source of product data in the bank and implement bank-wide Product Management technology
- Baseline and implement the Customer Value metric across the bank to understand the profit/losses generated at customer/product level
- Establish a single way of managing our products across the bank to drive consistency of approach covering accountabilities for key product roles and a professional career development path for Product Managers

This individual will operate as part of a flexible Programme team to help manage and drive strategic thinking into specific areas of the Programme.

Key responsibilities include:

- Extensive Banking implementation experience, leading project or programme implementation
- Extensive experience with Logical Data Models, particularly Enterprise-class models
- Extensive knowledge of Banking products, across retail, commercial, corporate and investment product families.
- Working knowledge of data and analytics development and project implementation experience using SAS/Teradata, or other analytics toolsets
- Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and Real Time integration design techniques and patterns
- Extensive experience in ETL design and implementation
